(Samuel Beckett, Der Namenlose)
Menschen.
(About Diogenes already was reported that he has responded with fine
irony to the complacent and pompous activism of the Corinthians, when
they were once threatened by a siege, so he also suddenly rolled his ton
with great fervor up and down through the streets. When he was asked
why he is doing this, he replied: I do my work and move my ton, that I
am not the only idler among so many hard-working people.)
